We are excited to announce that in 2016 Legends will be hosting the Memorial Day Murph Challenge with proceeds benefiting one local high school senior who is entering the armed forces.  We will do our part to make this event a huge success and we are looking for people to take part in the event or order a shirt/tank to support the scholarship.  If you or someone you know wants to sign up for the event or order a shirt/tank, please sign up in person or online by clicking the following link.

Registration has ended.  With all of your help and support we were able to fundraise $850.00 for the scholarship fund! (see award winner below).

As graduates of Central Cambria, ashley and I are thrilled to be able to come back to the school where we met, not too long ago.

This is the first year for the Legends Warehouse Murph Memorial Scholarship.  The scholarship is named after a workout entitled "Murph," which is a mile run followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats and another mile run.  This annual workout is named "Murph" in honor of Lieutenant Michael Patrick Murphy who lost his life in 2005 during a mission in the hills of Afghanistan's Kunar Province.

The Legends Warehouse Murph Memorial Scholarship rewards an individual that has the humility to be a team player, exhibits an obvious passion for sports and fitness, and exudes integrity.  But most importantly, the recipient must be a selfless individual willing to sacrifice for the greater good of our country by enlisting with a branch of the armed forces upon graduation.

It's been said that this year's winner is a tireless worker, who simply never settles for less than his best -- whether it is in the weight room, on the wrestling mat, or in the classroom.  This individual currently holds the record for most career wins by a Central Cambria Highschool wrestler and is going into the US Army after graduation.

this year's Legends Warehouse Murph Memorial Scholarship winner is...  Tommy Opdenhoff
